Three mindset changing business biographies below.
I learned a lot more about entrepreneurship from the following books, than in top university modules. You heard that right. Have you read these? Comment below 👇
Shoe Dog (aka story of Nike 👟)
☑️ Follow Phil Knight's wild tale of co-founding Nike!
☑️ A must read for inspiration and business insights.
☑️ Highly accessible, surprising twists and reads like a story/novel.
☑️ Key insight is recognising and listening to one's intuition.
☑️ This book still sits on my desk - yes it's that good.
Richard Branson's Autobiography (aka story of Virgin 🚂 ✈️☎️)
☑️ Ups and downs of building business success - I was glued to it!
☑️ The sheer vision and entrepreneurial creativity is madness.
☑️ The ability to switch a business strategy and expand across multiple industries was fascinating to see unravel.
☑️ Also reads like a novel.
☑️ Key insight for me was how to connect the dots of a business and also connect / manage people to create synergy.
Elon Musk's Journey
☑️ Story of X.com 💳 , Solar City ☀️, SpaceX 🚀, Tesla 🚗 in 1 book.
☑️ Like detail? More technical in terms of looking at efficiencies in rocket creation or under the hood of a Tesla for example.
☑️ Lessons learned across building the companies (enjoyed the deep dives about past SpaceX rocket launch fails).
☑️ Key insight for me was how to break down seemingly large problems in to core solvable/actionable elements.
Enjoy the read, enjoy the journey.
